Trip Agreement

What you agree to when booking a lesson // Last updated June 2026

About this agreement

When you book a lesson with Vagabond Ski School, you agree to the terms below. This page is written in plain English so anyone can read it without a lawyer in the room.

A formal long-form contract version will be linked here in a later phase. Until then, this document is the agreement that applies to all bookings.

Booking and payment

Lessons are booked and paid in full by card at the time of booking through OnlySky. Your spot is not held until payment is complete.

Your booking is confirmed once OnlySky sends your confirmation email. If you have not received a confirmation within a few hours, message us at info@vagabondskischool.ge and we will sort it out.

Lesson cancellation and refund policy

We try to be as flexible as possible. Here is what your options look like depending on how much notice you give us.

When you cancelYour options
More than 2 weeks before your first lesson80% refund, or a free date change to any available date
48 hours to 2 weeks before your first lesson50% refund, or 80% credit toward a date change
Less than 48 hours before your first lessonNo refund. Your instructor has held the day for you and turned down other work.

Taxes and service fees are non-refundable in all cases.

Date changes are handled case by case and we almost always find a way to make it work. Message us as early as you can and we will do our best.

If Gudauri ski resort closes for the entire day due to weather or avalanche risk, you choose: a full reschedule at no extra cost, or a full refund. If only the upper lifts close and the lower mountain stays open, lessons run on the lower mountain.

Tipping

Tipping is not expected or required. If you want to show your instructor some appreciation, 10 to 15 percent in cash at the end of your lessons is the customary range. Entirely your call.

Risk acknowledgment

Skiing and snowboarding carry inherent risk of injury. By booking, you accept that risk for yourself and any minors in your party. Our instructors are certified, take safety seriously, and adjust terrain and pace to the group.

Helmets are required for all clients. Freeride lessons require additional safety equipment: avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe. We can provide rental gear if you need it.

Minimum age

The minimum age for lessons is 5 years old. We do not run a separate kids club. Kids 5 and up are welcome in Individual and Private Group lessons. Beginner kids aged 5 to 7 take an Individual (1-on-1) lesson only, so they get the full attention they need to stay safe and have fun. Children under 5 are not yet ready for our lessons.

Liability limits

The liability of Vagabond Ski School LLC for any single booking is limited to the price paid for that lesson, except where Georgian law specifically provides otherwise.

Photo and video consent

We sometimes photograph or film lessons for marketing use on the website, social media, and similar channels. If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, tell your instructor at the start of the lesson and we will keep you out of the frame.

Trip packages (separate product)

Multi-day trip packages are a separate product with their own pricing and cancellation terms. If you have booked a trip package rather than individual lessons, your agreement terms were provided at the time of booking and differ from the lesson policy above. Questions: email info@vagabondskischool.ge.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Georgia.
